This red wine is a harmonious blend of 80% Montepulciano and 20% Aglianico, two of Italy’s finest grape varieties. Grown at 100 meters above sea level in the clay-rich soils of the Ramitello region, the vines are carefully tended to produce a wine of great character. After a long maceration and complete malolactic fermentation in steel vats, it is refined for three months in bottle before release. The result is a bright ruby red wine with a fresh, black fruit bouquet, spice, leather, full-bodied flavor, and a slightly bitter finish that lingers pleasantly.
