Ruggeri Prosecco Salter Extra Brut has a pale straw-yellow color with subtle green highlights and soft, compact froth, supported by a lively perlage. Its nose is a floral bouquet that evolves into hints of green apple and Williams pear. The palate is dry, with a long, decisive finish, and it offers a refreshing balance. The wine is made primarily from Glera grapes (min. 85%), with other local white varieties comprising up to 15%.
Produced in the hills of Valdobbiadene-Conegliano, the grapes are harvested in September, and vinification occurs off the skins at a controlled temperature of 16°C. The second fermentation takes place in sealed vats at 14-15°C, with a bottle pressure of 5.5 atm.
