MEMORIAS Crianza is a refined expression of Bobal from Viña Memorias, crafted from 100% Bobal vines over 65 years old. Grown in poor calcareous-clay soils at 745m altitude, these vines, with low yields and a traditional Gobelet training system, produce grapes that reflect the depth and complexity of mature vineyards. After manual harvest in early October, the wine undergoes 12 months of aging in American oak barrels followed by an additional 12 months in the bottle, ensuring a well-rounded and balanced profile.
This wine showcases warm aromas of vanilla, toasted spice, and dark fruit, harmoniously balanced with structured tannins and a smooth finish. With its classic Bobal character, MEMORIAS Crianza offers both approachability and sophistication, making it a standout in the Viña Memorias collection. Limited production of just 4,465 bottles and 200 magnums, this wine is a true testament to the tradition and craftsmanship of the region.
